Registration

Registration Meeting

Registration is the first step in joining the Gators swim team. The club hosts an annual registration meeting in April. (Please see the events list on the home page for exact day and time.) During the meeting, you will hear from various board members of the club about club activities and events. You will also have an opportunity to order swim suits and sign up for various volunteer positions.

Registration Guidelines

  • Every swimmer must be registered to participate in the Southglenn Gators Swim Team.

  • The deadline for registration and payments - without late fees - is the first meet.

  • Fees are as follows:
    • $61 for 1 child
    • $102 for 2 children, or
    • $128 for 3 or more children

  • The deadline for late registrations & payments - with a $10 late fee – is the fourth meet.

  • The registration form must be turned in before swimmers can enter the pool for practice or a meet.
  • All registration is conducted online. Southglenn has contracted with Rocky Mountain Register for registration and volunteer tracking, a move that will provide greater convenience and accountability. The Internet-based tool is easy to use. Click Here for more detailed instructions. This is now the only way to register. The club will provide computers and printers at the registration meeting for your convenience. You may of course register at any time on your computer.

  • The team has established a partial refund policy. You must sign up prior to the deadline. If, however, at any time up to the first meet your swimmer decides not to swim, you can receive a refund of all but six (6) dollars. Those six dollars go to the league to cover insurance and cannot be refunded. Think of it as getting two weeks of swimming instruction for about 60 cents a lesson.

Website Registration

The club maintains the Gator Pond website for the benefit of their members as well as to inform prospective members about the swim team. Guests may look at much for the website devoted to providing information about activities and events. A portion of the website, however, is reserved for members to communicate and interact with each other. Guests are not allowed in these areas of the website.

There is a three step process for registering to use the restricted portions of the website:
  • Swimmer Registration. Complete the online registration (as described above) and pay your fees to the club.

  • Website Registration. Register for the website by going to the home page and clicking the “Register” link just below the Login button. Enter the requested information including any desired profile information. Once you have successfully entered the information, you will receive a welcoming email.

  • Check Back. When you have successfully registered, the Webmaster will be notified and he will activate your account, usually within 24 hours. Check back in 24 to 48 hours to access your account. Login to the website and take a look at all the great features now available to you.
