Volunteers are essential for the Gator swim team to function properly. As such, every family is requested - and obligated - to contribute volunteer time. Please read about the basic features of our volunteer policy below. For more information, please download the complete policy. Then, when you are ready, you can enter your volunteer information during online registration.
Volunteer Guidelines:
- Every family will be required to contribute 6 volunteer sessions, or shifts, including 1 shift during prelims/championships.
- These shifts will be carefully tracked by team leads.
- Every member family will write out a check for $200 at the beginning of the season.
- These checks will NOT be cashed until the season is completed and ripped up if you complete your six sessions.
- You will be given a credit against that amount as follows: $30/session for the first five sessions and $50 for session six.
- There are numerous ways to contribute, not all of which require you to attend a meet.
