GATORS 2025 Pre-Season NEWS!!!

Greetings Gator Family.  Pre-season preparations are in full swing and the board wants you to be in the know as we get ready to launch into another fun filled summer swim season.

SEASON SCHEDULE

It is time to get out your calendar and "save the date" for important preseason events (Open House, Season Kick off) Practice Schedules (on the team website), DUAL MEETS, AGE GROUP PRELIMS, CHAMPIONSHIPS, and ALL STARS meets and our End of Season Banquet.  Don't forget we also have weekly Pep Rally events for team builidng and Stroke and Turn Clinic for skill development.  ALL DATES are on the TEAM WEBSITE CALENDAR.

EARLY REGISTRATION (ALL RETURNING and NEW SWIMMERS) MARCH 15-APRIL 4 2025

REGISTRATION FEES: $175/swimmer (Competitive team) $130 (D-Group) ** Multi swimmer discount available 

SGCC ACTIVITY FEE/Swimer $25 (Added to swimmer account 5/1 and charged 5/18)

GATORS BOOSTER FEE/HOUSEHOLD $75 (Added to household account 5/1 and charged5/18)

OPEN REGISTRATION (FEE INCREASE) APRIL 5-MAY 23 2025

REGISTRATION FEES: $225/swimmer (Competitive team) $150 (D-Group) ** Multi swimmer discount available

GATORS TEAM BOARD OPENING

CONCESSIONS COORDINATOR(s): we need a family to step into the role of coordinating our concessions at all home meets.  Board members meet 1X a month during the "off season" (January-April, August-October) and weekly during season (May-July).  Serving on the board fulfills your household volunteer Requirement.

PARENT VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS AT MEETS 2025

As always, we rely on parent volunteers at every dual meet, age group prelim, championship, and all stars meet.  We adjust the minimum number of volunteer shifts required based on team size.  Plan on filling a minimum of 5-6 shifts (1 shift is 1/2 of a meet) during the season.  Additional parent volunteer information will be shared as the season gets closer.  

There are also opportunities for volunteering during team social events, however filling "on deck" spots at meets is the priority.
